This fascinating and timely exhibition will give an overview of the history and development of the New Forest show from 1920 through to 2020. The exhibition will tell the visitor where in the Forest the show has been held and what it comprised of especially in the early days.

It will show how it has progressed from a one day agricultural event at Netley Marsh with animals tethered to a rope pegged down on a farmers field to a three day national event of some importance attracting competitors and visitors from across the south of England. There will be maps and photographs to help illustrate the exhibition.
