The International award-winning David Bailey Wildlife Wanderings exhibition is his second at the New Forest Heritage Centre starting 23rd October 2021, following the highly successful first in the Autumn of 2019. Making regular appearances on television, radio and a feature writer for magazines he has a reputation for capturing quality images and writing lively features. Despite lockdowns that curtailed his work, David is displaying new photographs besides many old favourites including ‘A Bad Hare Day’.
Since his first exhibition David had his second book published by Halsgrove Publishing in October 2020 called ‘Wildlife Wanderings’. Icons such as Dr Jane Goodall supplied the jacket cover blurb, with Bill Oddie writing the rear. World famous palaeontologist Dr Steve Etches wrote the foreword and through Pinewood film producer Pete Sheppard, Sir David Attenborough read the proofs.
David Bailey’s book will be available to buy and many images contained within will be for sale in the exhibition from greeting cards, unframed and framed prints to large highly detailed images printed on aluminium board. Hares, red squirrels, deer and birds offer a wide range of wildlife species available to view and buy.
