Formed in the Autumn of 2013, Visual Marks brought together a group of Textile Artists from diverse backgrounds all holding a common bond of working in stitched textiles and mixed media.
The New Forest has been an inspiration to our members for many years and as a group, we have enjoyed a number of sketching days within the New Forest area. From our research, individual sketches and photographs, each artist has created work in their own unique style and chosen media.
Our exhibition title, ‘Threads of the Forest’, has enabled the group to create and develop their work to this specific theme and produce a varied and interesting exhibition.
