The New Forest Heritage Centre (the Centre) is an independent museum, governed by the New Forest Heritage Trust, a charitable company limited by guarantee (registered charity no. 1186656).
The Centre’s Statement of Purpose reads:
‘The New Forest Heritage Centre inspires its visitors to explore and value the New Forest. It does this by collecting, conserving and interpreting its collections and by providing educational activities and information to a broad range of audiences. In doing so, it acts in ways that are ethical, ecologically sensitive, accessible and affordable’
