Visitor information

The New Forest Heritage Centre Museum contains a wealth of information about the history, traditions and people of the New Forest and is a great place to start your visit.

There are free leaflets and guides available in the Gift Shop, together with helpful staff on hand to help you choose from our wide range of local maps.

If you require general tourist information, such as where to stay or where to visit, the best place to look is the official New Forest tourism website.

Free WiFi is available in the Museum.

📢 On Thursday 17th August the Centre will have a film crew in, as a result you may find areas of the Centre closed off to visitors throughout the day.

There is also a possibility that you may be captured on film when they are filming in the open areas. 

If you wish not to be filmed please let the staff at the Centre know on the day and they will inform the film crew.
