Honorary Treasurer to the New Forest Ninth Centenary Trust (also Director of New Forest Museum Trading Ltd)

The New Forest Ninth Centenary Trust is looking to appoint an honorary treasurer.   The Trust owns and runs the New Forest Heritage Centre in Lyndhurst.  We have successfully changed our business model to free entry, and it’s exciting times for the Trust leading up to a major redevelopment.

We are looking for someone with an accountancy background with some knowledge of charities.  This job involves presenting accounts at four Trustees meetings and six Executive meetings each year as well as assisting with the preparation of annual accounts and budgets.  

Director Trustees are also required with museum or archive experience, buildings management experience, or who simply love the New Forest!
